Party Poker Million III Cruises With $3.5 Million In Record Prize

Curacao, Netherlands Antilles -- Pirates have not been raising this much money in international waters since they floated on the Spanish mainland.

Taking advantage of America's new passion for poker, PartyPoker.com will embark on a weeklong cruise on Holland America's luxurious MS Lyndam on Mar. 13 and conclude with the world's largest unlimited Texas Hold 'M' poker tournament, which runs from Mar. 14-18. More than 500 players are expected to compete for a record-breaking $3.5 million prize and a spot in the "World Poker Tour" championship on the travel channel. The top prize will exceed $1 million. PartyPoker.com is the world's largest online multiplayer poker room, offering a safe, secure, and friendly environment for players to play poker.

Anyone can enter PartyPoker Million III by going to PartyPoker.com and participating in a preliminary round, which costs less than $1 to enter. For information about the preliminary round, visit PartyPoker. The winners of the preliminary satellite tournament will receive a $1,000 package plus a $1,800 cruise and a $7,200 "buy" for two people. Nearly 300 people have already qualified through the PartyPoker.com satellite, super satellite, and semifinal, but more than 200 seats are still in contention.

"After two amazing tournaments in the last two years, The Party Poker Million III will be an even more monumental leap forward," said Mike Sexton, the host and spokesperson of Party Poker. "Tripling the prize money makes this one of the richest and certainly one of the most competitive events in poker. Someone will go home on a million-dollar salary and a lot of people will get a slice of the giant pot."

PartyPoker.com Million III is the third installment of the hugely successful tournament. Last year, the tournament attracted 130 players and offered a prize of $1.103 million. One of the finalists, Tim Lark, earned an online qualification from Party Poker by winning the $1 Satellite Tournament and placing his winnings in a spot on the cruise. He was carried on longer by world champion Howard Lederer of Las Vegas, a two-time winner of the 2003 World Poker Tour tournament. The previous year, Kathy Libert of South Gate, California, became the first woman to win $1 million in a single poker tournament.

This year, athletes will enjoy an enjoyable cruise by alternating relaxation and tension featuring blazing sun and big bets. The MS Lindam, which will sing Larreto and La Paz, is one of the most elegant boats in the sea. 바다이야기

As for those big bets, players will start the first day on a $7,000 chip and play until they lose or advance to the finals on the fifth day. The six-member final table will be filmed for broadcast on the hugely popular World Poker Tour television series. Players who participate in the PartyPoker.com Million III Championship will sweat hundreds of thousands of bets and bluffs on one hand. After a tough day at the poker table, that's exactly the Mai-Tai on the veranda of Lyndam!
